The South Harbour Café in Sydhavn offers its guests a nice and fresh selection of Moroccan food. As the cafe is open all day, it is a great address for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The two signature dishes of the cafe are clearly the salad and the Moroccan sandwich. Pick the salad and you are allowed to choose from a nice selection of freshly prepared Morrocan salads. Choose the large salad and you're definitely not going to go home hungry. If you prefer to eat your fresh Moroccan salad in a Moroccan sandwich then pick the sandwich option. You will be amazed by how much food can fit into such a Moroccan sandwich. Next to these signature dishes, the café offers varying options of great savoury Moroccan pastries as well as a daily Tagine dish - named after the earthenware pot in which it is cooked.

The cafe's interior is surprisingly nice, given its location on the trafficked Enghavevej. There is enough lighting which is great for studying or having a business or study meeting. Also for a date the café makes a perfect location without you needing to break the bank. The owners also took good care of decorating the cafe nicely with some memorabilia reminding the visitor of how the area previously looked. Especially nice is the outside area. The cafe owners managed to create a nice and quite outside lounge that is well shielded from the trafficked road. Enjoy the sun in the outside area or be protected from the rain by the large umbrellas. Note that the Café has enjoyed increasing popularity and it can get busy during lunch and dinner time. It might be wise to avoid the rush hour around lunch and dinner time.

One of the best things about the South Harbour cafe is the friendliness of the staff. Forget the fact that you need to order your food at the counter and will not be served at the table. When you see the smile of the ladies behind the counter you will forget all your sorrows. Don't hesitate to ask them for any help, they are more than happy to help out. If you prefer to eat your food at home, any item from the menu can be ordered as take out option.

The café is right next to the Sydhavn train station and is therefore easily reached by public transport. Enjoy your stay and food!
