Denmark is known for its delicious pastries and especially Copenhagen is treating us well with a lot of good bakeries. So, when in Copenhagen you can’t miss Juno the bakery. According to many Danes, Juno the bakery is one of the best bakeries in whole Copenhagen and after trying it yourself, you will probably agree with us.
Juno the bakery sells a variety of delicious pastries from their famous cardamom buns, to pistachios croissants, almonds croissants, loafs of bread and seasonal changing treats like strawberry or rhubarb pastries. Juno has its own bakery on one site in their shop and on the other side the sales counter. So, while you’re waiting in line, you can watch Juno’s bakers creating the delicious treats. Normally, they play music and it is a very lovely atmosphere inside the bakery. As soon as you come close to the bakery and enter the shop you will smell all the yummy pastries and breads. Everyone from kids to adults with all different tastes will be offered a special variety of delicious treats and for sure will find something they like.
In the bakery they don’t have seats since it is mostly takeaway, but if the weather is good you can sit on some tables outside of the bakery and enjoy your food. Juno the bakery is located in Østerbro between Nordhavn and Fælledparken, and surrounded by cute little streets which you could explore after your visit at Juno. In summer you could also buy some pastries at Juno and then go to the waterfront in Nordhavn and enjoy your food in the sun.
Juno the bakery is open from Wednesday until Saturday from 7.30-18.00 and Sundays from 8.00-15.00. So, remember that the bakery is closes Monday and Tuesday and you won’t get disappointed when standing in front of the closed bakery. Either you take a bike or public transport. Poul Henningsens Plads St is the closest metro station and from there it is only 9 minutes by foot to Juno the bakery. We also recommend to bring a bit of time, because normally there is a queue outside of Juno, but I will promise it is worth to wait.
Enjoy your trip to Juno the bakery!
