Hey Captain adds a little twist to your usual touristic canal tour experience. Here, you are not treated as a tourist but as a friend. The anchor point for their boat tours is to be personal, social, and informative by creating a comfortable atmosphere where you can sit back and relax in the cushioned seats as you are taken through Copenhagen’s stunning canals. Interaction is their DNA, so expect to have a chat with everyone on the boat, while your captain tells you some interesting facts about Copenhagen (and definitely not the usual ones!) - a true social sailing experience. The captains always put a smile on your face with their friendly and fun way to guide you through their favorite city.

The boats hold up to 12 people to ensure a much more personal experience so ask any questions that pop to your mind, your captain will be happy to answer them!

Of course, the Danish weather cannot be trusted, but Hey Captain has got you covered! All boats have a convertible roof that will be used in case of rain or wind to make sure that all guests feel comfortable.

To even increase the comfortable atmosphere, you have the possibility to buy drinks on your canal tour. In summer, you get water and lemonade for free and you can buy beer or a glass of wine. During the colder months, you can wrap yourself in blankets and enjoy the boat ride with a free cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate or you can buy a glass of traditional Danish glögg to get the true hygge experience.

There are three different routes you can pick, ranging from the 1-hour „Landmarks“ tour, to the 2-hour „Hidden Gems“ tour or the incredible 5-hour „Diana“ tour (only available in summer) which covers not just all the attractions you can see from the water but you will be taken up on land, shown the hidden secrets of Copenhagen, have lunch at one of the Captain’s favorite spots and even go for a swim. If all that is not enough for you, you can also customize your own private tour! There is really something for everyone to enjoy the canal tour to the fullest by embracing social sailing.

Give it a try and see for yourself!
