CopenHill, also called Amager Bakke, is an artificial ski slope and recreational hiking area located on top of a waste management centre. CopenHill offers a wide range of activities.

Skiing

CopenHill offers an artificial ski slope that gives you the opportunity to ski in Copenhagen all year around. The skiing hill can be used by beginners as well as more experienced skiers as the upper part of the ski slope is a black/red piste, while the middle and lower part is a blue/green piste.

Hiking and running

It is also possible to go to CopenHill for a hike or a run. You can do a mountain run up the "Garmin Track" where you can experience the slope's steep percentages. You can either run on your own or join CopenHill's running and training community RUN365. You can also hike up the slope while enjoying the landscape and the spectacular view over Øresund from 85 meters height. The hill is publicly available, which means that you can run and hike for free.

Climbing

On the side of CopenHill is the world's tallest climbing wall at 85 meters tall. It consists of several climbing routes with different degrees of difficulty. Note that the climbing wall is only for experienced climbers as it requires a multi-pitch certification.

Bow Combat

If you are a group of action-loving people, you can try the Bow Combat, which is a fun energetic game that combines the features of archery and paintball. You play in two teams of 4-6 players, and the goal of the game is to shoot the players on the opponent team by using a bow and arrow made of foam. Bow Combat can be played all year round.

Café and Afterski

If you want something to eat or drink, CopenHill offers two nice cafés. One is located at the top of the hill, where you can stop after your hike or while skiing. The other café is located at the bottom of the ski slope. Here you can enjoy a well-spent day in true après-ski style.
