Already from the outside, Babbo-Ria exudes coziness with the small tables and green plants placed on the pavement, just like in the southern parts of Europe. Walking by in the morning, you cannot avoid the amazing smell of freshly baked goods. The display includes sourdough bread, cinnamon and cardamom buns, croissants and more, and if you are even more hungry, they also serve delicious breakfast-plates, varying from season to season, all alongside great coffee.
For dinner, Babbo-Ria has several options. As they are an Italian restaurant, they serve their pizzas with joy, with toppings varying from potatoes and ricotta, to tomatoes and stracciatella and more. The pizzas are priced at 110 DKK.
To get more around Babbo-Ria's kitchen, they also offer a 6-course menu, to share among the guests of the table, with a different menu every day. Here you try a little bit of everything, perfect for those finding it difficult to choose, and is only priced at 285 DKK per person. Most of Babbo-Ria's wine is the very hyped and trendy natural wines and if this is not something you are familiar with; the staff is more than ready to guide you.
The atmosphere in Babbo-Ria is cozy and laid back, with younger waiters making sure their guests are having fun. A shot of different kinds of liquors on the house is not uncommon. In the evening the music is playin and the disco-ball is twirling, creating a unique combination of restaurant and a bar feeling.
Be aware that Babbo-Ria is only open for dinner Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday until 14:30. Monday and Tuesday they are closed.
